Cleveland Road

Planning permission was granted for this new build residential development project in Bournemouth in 2021. For this scheme a tired and very dilapidated showroom was demolished - the site was beyond refurbishment due to costs. The design approach was to go for a more contemporary narrative, with light beige brickwork and simple metal balconies. The use of box windows to some of the flats offered additional space where needed. The total number of units on the site was 17, mainly 1 bed starter units in an affordable location.
