Egmont Road

This was a historical planning permission that never got built out, but had PP in perpetuity due to the other 3 in the close being built. Initially, we negotiated a new design for the house as the ‘faux tudor 90s vibe’ was lost on the client. Our approach was for natural materials to sit within the sylvan setting. Focus on transient spaces, with open plan living areas to the main house – ‘we like an open house’ was the brief – and that was achieved. The corner glazed doors hide into the walls, giving a completely open feel to the corner of the house.
