What is generally included in a planning application drawing package?
Existing & proposed floor plans & elevations, roof plan, site plan, location plan & sometimes a 3D model.
What is generally included in planning application floor plans?
General Layout - walls and rooms
Door & Window Placement - opening sizes included, roof lights and any specialist glazing (eg structural glass)
Structural Elements - support columns & beams, staircases etc (this will be confirmed by a Structural Engineer)
Design Elements - locations of some built in features will be included such as fireplaces, wardrobes etc
Plumbing - initial layouts for bathrooms and kitchens will be added to consider drainage and plumbing
Fire Strategy - initial consideration for building regulation fire strategy
